2008-2009 Calendar - The PLC presented the calendar to the troop and it met with total approval. Please check back regularly as we update our calendars with Council Events and changes that come about due to conflicts, weather, etc. Parents - keep in mind that there are a number of high cost events between Christmas time and Summer Camp. Bass Pro is a great fundraiser but this year it needs to be POPCORN!!

POPCORN!!!

This and every year, the primary council fundraiser to support the paid council staff members and the program at all levels. Additionally, we (the Troop) get 1/3 of the monies raised in the sale. This could mean $300 for every $1000 of popcorn sold!!! Sell $2000 worth of popcorn and you could pay for the whole year almost!!!

Additionally, you will be able to sell magazine coupons along with the popcorn. For those who buy magazines coupons, they subscribe to a magazine on the list, and send the coupon back instead of sending a check.

We will be giving out more information about this sale in the next few weeks.

The weekend (23rd): We cancelled Crater of Diamonds park in Arkansas due to a week of rain and the potential for rain that day. We plan on rescheduling it since it was high on the list of things we want to do this year.
